IUCR, together with the Academic Consortium “International University of Kyrgyzstan”, NOU “International Academy of Education”, ANO “Institute of Scientific Communications” and the Consortium for Sustainable Development and Technological Leadership, held a conference on October 19, 2023 at BBL on the topic “University 4.0 – the university of the future on the way to sustainable development: modern trends, challenges and prospects”, which was attended by more than 150 representatives of the teaching staff of various universities of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Italy, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as graduate students, undergraduates, and doctoral students. 85 reports of participants were published in the Anniversary “Bulletin of MUK” No. 3, 2023. The 20 best reports were accepted for publication in the Springer book series (SCOPUS).
At the plenary meeting, Advisor to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Presidential Administration, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of JSC “MUK”, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.A. made a welcoming speech and report. -Aydaraliev, the report was made by the professor of the University of Messina (Italy), -Dr. Bruno S. Sergi, President of ANO INK Doctor of Economics, Professor Popkova E.G., Director of the Representative Office of the Association “National Coordination Center for Processing Transactions with Rights and Objects of Intellectual Property” in the Kyrgyz Republic Tursunalieva Y.T., Chief Academic Secretary NAS KR Khudaibergenova B.M. The moderator was Vice-President for Science and International Relations of the International University of Kyrgyzstan, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor M.S. Baykhodzhoev.
In today’s rapidly changing world, it is becoming in demand not only to have knowledge and be able to conduct research aimed at the development of society or the economy, but also to create innovations to contribute to social and economic development. In Kyrgyzstan, for this purpose, a roadmap for transforming the university system into the “University 4.0” model has been developed.
The purpose of the conference was to determine the priorities of education and science for the formation and functioning of University 4.0, which should become a center for the creation of intellectual property, new technological industries, the economy of knowledge and information.

Section 1: Modern universities are engines of innovation processes and generators of creative ideas
Section 2: Universities 4.0 – centers of growth for the knowledge economy
Section 3: Formation of new mechanisms for a sustainable method of socio-natural interaction and rational environmental management in modern universities
Section 4: Functioning of the modern state and human rights in the context of sustainable development
All performances were prepared at a high level. The speakers’ reports provoked lively discussion and discussion, which indicates the interest and relevance of the prepared reports.
Based on the results of the conference, a final plenary meeting was held, at which the results were summed up, a resolution was adopted, and certificates were awarded for active participation in the conference.
